About Film Acting Director
The Film Acting School is pleased to have Andrej Acin join the Film School as Director for Film & Television. From his early beginnings of his successful professional artistic career as a film producer on variety of film, music and television projects that he created during the past twenty-two years, Andrej established his well recognized highly artistic signature not only in Europe but worldwide. At the age of 17 he started as a multi awarded musician and film composer (Composer of the year in 2002) and over the time developed his professional craft and artistic skills to become one of the most influential directors and producers of a new film and television generation in Europe nowadays. As someone who is highly experienced in high budget productions (directed 85 episodes of drama TV series JELENA 2004/.2005 and independent productions (won 9 international awards for best film directing) Andrej brings invaluable knowledge and experience to share with young directors, producers and actors taking their first steps in the film & television industry. |

Outline
The Filmmaking Essentials Course is designed as a quick guide to the roots of filmmaking crafts. With a unique combination of theory and practical exercises, by demystifying techniques of creating film projects this course helps students to articulate and deliver their ideas as final products in the most creative ways. |

This three week hands on intensive digital film making workshop provides the film acting schools students with a bigger picture of a journey to the roots of filmmaking craft. The course is demanding and will require a serious commitment to its completion. There will be some weekends included. This course is perfect for young aspiring film makers who will learn if film making is an area they wish to pursue as a career.

FilmSchools students are presenting subjects for their future short feature films or documentaries as well as reviewing the idea with the instructor. Each film schools student will write, direct, shoot and edits a short film up to 7 minutes of a running time. Each film schools student will have two practical exercises consisting of "Mise-en-scene", continuity, one written assignment screenplay for documentary or short fiction film and one final film project exam either on short fiction film or documentary edited on Final Cut Pro.
Students graduate with a certificate and a DVD Film Reel

***Additional Equipment Fee $300.00. Students will also incur additional expenses on their own production.
This varies depending on how much film they shoot and scale of the project.
