Scene study for beginners introduction to film acting and t.v. commercial acting
acting schools course – 8 weeks total 24 hours

Film Acting Schools students use the techniques they learn in this course class to break down scenes into "beats" (i.e. moments of emotional transition) and then assign specific psychological actions, physical actions, and obstacles to each beat. The Film Acting students will be taught Strasberg's Method Technique in this introduction to scene study. Film Acting Schools students will be learning script interpretation, going into the character and learning to become comfortable in front of the lens of the camera while brining the character to life. This section will educate through immediate feedback, students strengths and weaknesses when acting for the camera. Additionally, students learn how to build a comprehensive scored script that includes: a character biography, as well as how the surrounding conditions or environment impacts the character's overall objective.
