Course Outline for Kids Advance Film Making
 
Class #1:
Meet and greet and update actor’s profile
Discuss why kind of script the student’s would like to have written for them
Meet with the script writer so the script writer can have a better understanding as to the Talent’s personality and what character is going to be assigned to each student
Discuss professional demands to have an acting career
Discuss the "tasks" of the actor to successfully win and execute a role
 
An actor must have knowledge of the following:
Audition technique for Film Script Analysis Relaxation
Concentration Sense memory Diction
Emotional Recall Projection Creating a place
Historical research Characterization "Business"
 
Class #2: (On Camera)
Working on a monologue, working on improvisation skills
Relaxation exercises, explain emotional recall exercises & sense memory exercises
Learning auditioning techniques for film and how different it is from tv.commercials
Discuss Protocol as to how to successfully "Land the Role" and understand what Casting Directors are looking for.

Relaxation exercises
Emotional recall exercises
Sense memory exercises
"Creating a place" exercises
Reviewing the 1st draft of what the script writer has written and performing the 1st segment to the camera
 
Class #4. (On Camera)

Atmospheres and "creating a place" control – Discussing technical aspects of movement and blocking on camera, understanding terminologies on set
Receiving the 2nd part of the script, reviewing and practicing on camera each student’s character
 
Class #5. (On Camera)

Scene work
Atmospheres and "creating a place" control – Creating the scenes and putting the technical aspects of movement and blocking on camera to play
 
Class #6. (On Camera)
Relaxation exercises

Discuss further camera techniques

Practice scene work amongst the actors and making readjustments where necessary
 
Class #7. (On Camera)

Work the scenes and perfect the Role of the actor

Coming to the class with the whole script memorized and rehearsing to film
