Acting Toronto Academy One Month Filmmaking Program

Objectives
The film acting school has now implemented a full time one month film making program This program shall provide the students with a bigger picture of a journey to the roots of filmmaking craft. The training has a lot to cover in the one full month and demands a serious commitment to its completion. Weekends are included.

PreRequisites
You need to be of 18 years of age & student must have a digital DV or HD camera. If student does not have digital camera can rent from
school for additional cost.

Total hours
128 hours classes for 4 weeks.
WEEK l:
DAY 1, 2, 3, 4 – 4 hours a day totalling 16 hours
DAY 5 – students shoot films as much time as they need, it will take 8 hours of instructors
Time to supervise each student on different locations
WEEK 1 TOTAL 24 HOURS
During the weekend students edit and finalize films to be shown the following Monday.
WEEK 2:
DAY 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 – 4 hours a day totaling 20 hours
WEEK 2 TOTAL 20 hours
WEEK 3:
DAY 1 – 4 hours
DAY 2,3 – 8 HOURS PER DAY, instructor will follow each student during the shooting = 16 hours
DAY 4, 5 8 hours per day for editing totaling 16 hours
WEEK 3 TOTAL 36 hours
WEEK 4:
DAY 1, 2 4 hours per day totaling 8 hours
DAY 3, 4 5 – 8 hours per day (shooting) totaling 24 hours
DAY 6, 7 – 8 hours per day (editing) totaling 16 hours
WEEK 4 TOTAL 48 hours
