Full Time Film Acting Program (Three Month Course)
 
THIS COURSE IS A THREE MONTH (300 HOURS) ACTING PROGRAM
(25 HOURS A WEEK, 5 HOUR DAYS)
RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS OR
THOSE WITH LIMITED EXPERIENCE EITHER IN THEATRE OR FILM
 
Overall Course Objective
To empower students with the essential knowledge and tools they will need in order to broaden their capabilities and assist them to succeed as professional in the entertainment industry.
 

Month One: (100 Hours)
Acting school students will work extensively on how to audition for TV commercials with mock auditions where students receive feedback (part 1), acting for the camera techniques (part 1), scene study, daily warm-ups for the body, voice and the creative mind, film appreciation, actor improvisational exercises, drama and the understanding the Business of Show Business (part 1). A popular step by step seminar series that offers students essential advice and guidance on (among other topics) the business of show business, how to get agents, managers, actors headshots, self promotion, promotional actor reels, networking and your all important image.

 
Month Two: (100 Hours)
Acting school actors will further broaden their knowledge with monologues (part 1), acting for the camera (part 2), scene study, TV commercials with mock auditions where students receive feedback (part 2), daily warm-ups, Improvisation, drama, voice, movement, film appreciation and understanding the Business of Show Business (part 2).
 
Month Three: (100 Hours)
Acting school actors will now experience the full effects of the extensive training as all the components converge together. The students work on monologues (part 2), acting for the camera (part 3) how to audition for film and television, daily warm-ups, film appreciation, improvisational exercises, understanding story structure, working with scripts, production workshops where students compete to produce a short film and television commercials – here students will work as teams and compete as rivals. In addition, students will do mock auditions with an actual principle agent in attendance who gives feedback and may offer a contract to those that display dynamic talent. Student will also work to complete their professional 3 minute promotional reel showing their best work. Finally, students will wrap it all up with the final series of the Business of Show Business - self marketing & promotion, how students can get an agent, photo head shots, resumes, promotional reels, and practical on camera interview techniques.
 
Cost
The Tuition fee for Three month course is $5,500.00
 
On Completion Of Course (An Assessment)
Acting school students will be assessed at the end of the program.
