   Lori Pearlstein

Lori Pearlstein has worked as a professional actor in New York City as well as in Toronto for several years. Her credits for Film & Television include “This is Wonderland”, Featured role in “ Star T.V”. Lead role in “ It’s Alan” Principal role for “What’s so funny”, Lead role for “The Briss”. Lori was nominated for a pixie award for best actress for her role in the movie “The Briss”. Lori’s many Theatre credits include her One Woman Show: It’s About Time which she performed on stage both in Toronto as well as in New York City and received rave reviews for. Besides having film & theatre experience Lori has comedy under her belt where she performed as standup in many of the New York City Comedy Clubs such as Gotham which is one of the best Comedy clubs in New York City as well as Boston Comedy club.

Her training has been with one of the finest acting schools in New York City “Circle in the Square” as well as HB Studio N.Y where she was trained by Uta Hagen, one of the most famous acting teachers. She also studied privately with Philip Seymour Hoffman (Owing Mahoney), Austin Pendleton (A Beautiful Mind) and has since gone on to become a dialect coach and acting coach to students over a period of ten years.

Lori has also worked with many well known Casting Directors as a Reader & Director including "Becker Casting" in New York, and “Powerhouse Casting” in Toronto just to name a few.

Toronto Academy of Acting welcomes Lori as one of their new teachers.
