Eric Wiegand is a film and television production professional who has
worked in virtually every area of the film making process over the past
20 years. From the nuance of lighting and setting the shot for a scene
to the nuts and bolts of organizing a shoot for maximum efficiency. Eric
has worked with many young film makers as they have developed and
produced their first projects such as the HD feature "Drop Dead Roses"
and the comedy short "How To Be More Chinese". Eric has produced and
directed short films, documentaries, music videos and television comedy
and variety specials. A Ryerson graduate Eric has also done time as
artist in residence at Sony Of Canada working with emerging
technologies. Eric will bring this wealth of practical experience to the
classroom to walk the beginner through the basic steps of the film
making process.
